The federal government has developed the Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) to help small and medium sized businesses. Part of this program is the $2,400 Grow Your Business Online Grant, which covers costs to make your website better suited to acquiring online sales. You can also use a portion for online marketing. It’s a very flexible grant and should be around throughout 2024.
What you need to qualify:
- Be for-profit (includes for-profit social enterprises and cooperatives)
- Be a registered or incorporated business
- Be consumer-facing
- Have at least 1 employee (other than the business owner) OR have had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year
- Primarily operate in B.C.
